Taking on the Corporate Catering Service Challenge

Wicked Foods takes our Corporate Catering Customer Service very seriously.

That’s why the team went on a Paintball Mission this weekend.

The objective… survival.

After a tough day of planking on gravestones and driving a London double-decker bus under fire the team emerged with just one major casualty- Dave with a dislocated shoulder and a minor arm fracture in the first 5 minutes-bummer!

We won’t count the head-wound to the GM (he doesn’t need it anyway), Max’s grapefruit sized bruises or the Finance Managers broken spectacle lense (we always thought he was one eyed anyway).

The result – The Wicked Foods team is even more unified in our desire to get your corporate catering order delivered on time and as you ordered it!

Australian Sandwichship Winner – The Only Corporate Caterer

Being Sydney’s busiest Corporate Caterer means we never had time for competitions – but at the urging of one of our catering suppliers we decided to enter this years Australian Sandwichship – held at FineFoods Sydney Darling Harbour.

We were up against some pretty cool competition from Sydney’s Sandwich Shops and cafes but Chef Naomi showed em that Corporate Caterers know a thing or two about sandwiches too by taking out the Gold Medal in the Toasted division with her Australian Themed Ham & Cheese Toastie with an amazing Bush Tomato and Parmesan Crust. The sandwich was cut into an Australia shape – right down to the little Ayers Rock tapenade.

The judges (including Adam from Masterchef) loved it – they were also drooling over Naomi’s amazing Kangaroo and Wattleseed Wrap. The talk of the afternoon was the Chilli Peanut Brittle that Naomi sprinkled through her Pulled Pork Bap in the creative category.

So congratulations to Naomi – and Wicked Foods appetite has definitely been whetted for more competitions.
